  • 'Copy watch! Real fake copy watch!' will come the cry as you wander round the decidedly dodgy looking, higgledy-piggledy collection of shops. The vendors are utterly unashamed of flogging fake Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Tiffany to the masses. The knock-offs can range from good to giggle-inducing, but it is a shopping experience unlike any other in Dubai, that will see you whisked into a raft of redundant back rooms to see 'the good stuff' (clearly nobody in authority cares enough to stop the openly-practiced racket, but the traders think the clandestine posturing adds to authenticity - go along with it).
