  • The bottom of Sheikh Zayed Road is not a place you'd expect to have its own mini Ibiza, so the recently-opened iKandy is still a bit of an insider find. Its moniker might be the equivalent of an 'if you think I'm beautiful'-type t-shirt, but the boasting is right on the money, most nights. Think flashy, pretty (or should that be pretty flashy - this joint is not cheap) clientele ordering tapas, smoking shisha and tapping their feet to the resident DJs. The ultra-violet glow means you'll see everything through rose-tinted spectacles anyway. And its fourth floor poolside setting provides extra (more natural) eye candy in the form of a great view of the gigantic Burj Dubai.
